Laura Chapot Wins the $5,000 SPEED STAKE 1.40m at the 2017 Devon Fall Classic
We checked in with Laura Chapot after her winning ride in the $5,000 Speed Stake at the 2017 Devon Fall Classic.
"Hi I’m Laura Chapot, and I rode Out of Ireland to the win in Open Speed Stakes tonight at Devon. She is going to show tomorrow in the Grand Prix, so tonight was a nice warm up. She's a naturally fast horse, so I kind of trust that her speed will take care of the time and try just to keep her as even as possible throughout the whole course.
"We always love coming here is always a great crowd and the crowd really boosts us, and I think it makes the horses jump even better and makes you want to try harder to win class."
